CATRIN FINGER (GRADUATE ENGINEER, MBA, PATENT ATTORNEY)

Catrin Finger, born in 1966, studied Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering at the Maritime University of Technology at Warnemünde/Wustrow before working as a programmer at Siemens AG for several years. Afterwards, Mrs. Finger spent four years as a patent engineer at Siemens AG, where she concentrated pre­dominantly on patenting computer-implemented inventions before moving on to the Patent Department at DaimlerChrysler AG, where she focused predominantly on antenna technology and battery and power supply system engineering for two and a half years.

Additionally, Mrs. Finger has several years of experience in the develop­ment, analysis, and maintenance of product-related and technology-related patent portfolios and in the development of application strategies. After her training at the Frankfurt District Court, the German Patent and Trademark Office in Munich, and the German Federal Patent Court in Munich, Mrs. Finger worked as a patent attorney in a patent attorney office in Frankfurt before she moved to Erfurt in order to join the Liedtke & Partner patent attorney law firm in 2004.
